CHURCH ORGANIZATIONS
BOARDS
God has called us all here and now to bring Christ to others through Word and Sacrament; building up every person in Christ within the congregation and reaching out to others in the community around us. We welcome those who have not yet heard of Christ as well as those who are not active in a Christian congregation.
COMMITTEES
Altar Guild, guided by the Pastor, is responsible for setting up and caring for everything to do with the altar and worship. This includes Holy Communion, Baptism, banners, flowers, and the general appearance of the Nave.
Memorial Committee reviews memorial requests from members of the congregation and allocates funds accordingly. Memorials made in someone’s memory are coordinated with the family.
OTHER GROUPS
Choir is open to adults worshiping at Mount Zion Lutheran Church; this includes our regular members as well as our winter visitors. Practice is Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm (check the calendar).
Mountain Climbers (LWML) meets the third Saturday of each month from September through May in the Education Building at 9:30am. This group provides the opportunity for service within our own church. All ladies of the congregation are invited to participate.
